50s Teal Strapless Party Dress by Mollie Stone

Spectacular. This 1950s strapless, tea length ball gown by Mollie Stone is in a deep teal blue or turquoise. It has magnificent gold and black bugle beading and aqua iridescent sequins at the bodice top and scalloped hip yoke. Bodice is boned all around for shape and support. Scattered sequins decorate the flatteringly gathered tulle above the waistline. Full, double-layer tulle skirt. Fully lined in taffeta. Metal CONMAR side zip with top hook&eye. Matching, rectangular tulle wrap. A sparkling dream of a dress.

Fiber/Care: unknown, burn test suggests synthetic taffeta, nylon tulle, dry-clean only

Condition: As would be expected, some sequins and beads are loose and there are a few missing here and there. Does not detract from overall sparkle. There is a 3/4" split in the tulle outer layer near the bottom front of the skirt. It is completely lost in the folds and very difficult to find.
