Truly luxurious. This quilted satin bed jacket from the 1940s positively glows. Silky cream fabric embroidered all over with light blue stitches in a floral pattern. Smooth self-fabric lining. Lots of hand finishing. Meant to wear as a short robe at home, but so glamorous and substantial, it deserves to be seen. Another high-quality garment from the Sherman estate.
