Light-weight black cotton dress from the early 1960s. Cotton lace trims the ballet neckline and slightly puffed, elbow-length raglan sleeves, given it a bit of an ethnic, boho feel. Fitted bodice, nipped waist, gently full skirt (shown with and without a crinoline, not included). Unlined, pinked seams. Thread belt loops. Crisp, semi-sheer fabric has a vertical shadow stripe. From the Tawni W. Collection.
Labels: Gay Petites by Gay Gibson
research indicates the brand was founded in 1937 and that there was never an actual person named Gay Gibson involved (just like Suzy Perette)
Fiber/Care: unmarked, cotton, washable
Condition: the elastic above the lace has lost its bounce (easily replaced if you prefer a puffier-sleeved look, just open the channel at the seam). original belt is missing and our ribbon is not included (though you could probably talk us into including it)
*This dress is freshly laundered and ready to wear.*
