1950s or early 1960s dress and bolero jacket in navy blue silk. Beautifully constructed and finished. Short-sleeved wiggle dress has softly shirred chiffon bodice, defined waist seaming, back walking slit. Metal Murlen back zip with hooks&eyes at top and waist. Pinked seams. Cropped jacket has portrait collar, three-quarter sleeves, three large covered buttons with bound buttonholes, plus a snap under the collar and hook&eye at the hem. Notice how the jacket's front hemline is notched to accommodate the bow? Classic! Both pieces are fully lined. Absolute vintage perfection from the incredible wardrobe of Dorothy E.
