Creamy vanilla white 1950s embellished cashmere cardigan. Extensive hand beading with white glass and faux-pearl beads on front, upper back, cuffs, and waistband. Beadwork on front extends onto shoulders. Nine faux-pearl buttons. Silk lining. Waist length with bracelet sleeves. Most likely made in Hong Kong where the finest beadwork was done.

Condition: Nearly, but not absolutely, perfect. We can't find a single missing bead, but a tiny moth-hole in the upper back of the right arm has been darned (we were unable to capture it in a photo). The lining has been restitched where it had come loose. A few tiny areas of discoloration appear to be inherent glitches in the wool, rather than stains.
