50s Green Lace Dress With Full Circle Skirt

Elegant, mid-century princess dress from the 1950s. Allover cotton lace in deep kelly green. Sleeveless ballet neck bodice has a twist detail at each shoulder and a V-neckline at back. Double princess seams in front, single in back. Nipped waist. More-than-a-full-circle gored skirt is shown with and without a crinoline (not included). Full lining. Deep hem. Closes at back with a metal Conmatic zipper and top hook&eye. From the Sherman Collection of West Virginia.

Fiber/Care: no tags, cotton lace with acetate lining, most likely washable in cold water but safest to dry-clean

Condition: color shift to lining at bodice is visible through to the exterior only under our bright photography lights. in normal lighting the dress appears nearly perfect.
