How to look instantly pulled together? Wear this 1950s navy blue polka-dot dress and coat. It feels great and is so flattering to a woman's figure. Dress of a silky faille (that's a very finely ribbed texture) polka dot fabric with white linen at the double collar and short sleeves. Floppy bow at neck closes with hook&eye and snap. Side metal STAR zip. Below-knee straight skirt with side-seam pockets.
Collarless, lightweight wool coat closes with a single hook&eye at neck. Bracelet-length sleeves, bust darts, underarm gussets. Body is lined with dress fabric. Just yummy!
Fiber + Care: Dress - rayon (or possibly silk) with linen trim; Coat - wool. Dry clean only.
Label: If It's a Georgette, It Fits
shoulders: (no seams, but approx. 16")
bust: 38" (darts and cut accommodate ample bust)
skirt length: 27.5"
shoulders: approx. 17"
Condition: Dress is in excellent, sturdy condition. There are thread belt loops but the belt is missing. There is some pink discoloration at the floppy collar. The coat had three very small (1/8") moth holes (one along midpoint of center edge, and one at each side of the upper chest). All have been darned and are barely noticeable.
