From the 1960s, a navy blue sheath dress with removable cropped overlay and matching boxy jacket. Beautiful, weighty fabric, fully lined. Lots of darts for shaping. Dress and overlay close at back with metal zippers. Tank-style dress bodice (not meant to be seen) is made of the lining fabric. Boxy, no-closure jacket has four real pockets, split cuffs, and decorative fabric buttons. This set can be broken up and each piece worn with other separates for year-round, all-occasion versatility. For example, use your own knit top in place of the overlay to create a more-casual, sweater-and-skirt look. Worn as a set, it's oh so Jackie O. From the Bess L. estate.
