30s/40s Mini Top Hat

Sorry, this item has sold.

Adorable black wool tilt hat from the late 1930s or very early 40s. Everyone's steampunk favorite, the miniature top hat design, festooned with acid-yellow ostrich feathers. The wool strap goes around the back of your head, over your hair, and has one elasticized end for give and comfort. Additional plain elastic goes beneath your hair and helps hold the hat in place. Either strap could be tucked into the hat if you'd prefer to simply pin it to your hairdo. Made in the U.S.A. From the Jane K. estate.

We show the hat on Betty (blonde) with the feathers at back, which is the "correct" way, but hats may be worn however you prefer -- there's no true right or wrong. So, we also show it on Jane (brunet) with the feathers at front.
