The rich, deep color of this 1980s crepe cocktail or party dress is gorgeous. We'd call it raspberry red or possibly magenta pink. It's not as "loud" as fuchsia. Modest but figure-flattering cut has a v-neck tank bodice with vertical darts. Overlay extends into dolman sleeves ending in a tiny ruffle. Very wide ruched waist detail with rhinestone-and-faux-pearl embellishment topping the swag detail at front. Straight skirt has back kick pleat. The bodice is sprinkled front and back with individually attached faux pearl beads. The dress is fully self-lined. Closes at back with nylon Talon zipper and top hook&eye. Fiber/Care: polyester georgette crepe, dry-clean only (although we suspect it's hand washable, we followed the care instructions)
Condition: it looks to be perfect, but we aren't sure there isn't the faintest of stains as indicated in the photo. if so, it's nearly impossible to see. we suspect there were originally shoulder pads, and you could certainly replace them, but we think the dress looks good with this more natural silhouette.
