50s Purple Wool Full Skirt Day Dress

SKU: 00604-001
Sorry, this item has sold.

Purple wool day dress from the 1950s with pleated detail at the bust, three-quarter kimono-cut sleeves, nipped waist, and moderately full skirt. Wear it with or without a crinoline (not included). Lined at front bodice and skirt. Pinked seams. Closes at back with metal zipper and top hook&eye. Union made in the U.S.A. From my personal collection.

The color seemed to come out different in every photo. It is pure purple. Midway between blue and red, with a slightly heathered quality. Beautiful.

Labels: R&K "For the Girl Who Knows Clothes", 1955-'63 ILGWU label

*We've had this dress professionally dry-cleaned and it's ready to wear.*
