Beautiful 1950s or early 60s little black dress. Bodice has inverted diagonal pleats and top frog closure detail at front, vertical back seams. Nipped waist with thread loops (no belt). Lined except at kimono-cut, elbow-length sleeves. Straight skirt with back kick pleat and side-seam pockets (!). Pinked seams. Waist and hem tape. Metal CC back zip with top hook&eye. Nicely made and feels wonderful. A versatile dress appropriate for a variety of occasions, from office to cocktails.

Fiber/Care: unmarked, rayon (smoother than crepe, but with a slightly crepey texture) with acetate lining, dry-clean
Condition: no flaws to note and looks nearly new, the hem of the lining is pinked but unfinished. there's no way to know if it was made this way or altered. The original belt is missing and any shown are not included.

For reference, I tried this dress on and it was just a bit too big on me. I like my dresses to fit snugly. I am 5'5" and measure b: 35.5 (32D), w: 26.5, h: 35.5, and usually wear a U.S. modern size 2/4. If you're about my size and like a bit of breathing room, it will fit perfectly. If you're an inch or two larger all over, it will still fit you. Please go by above measurements, comparing a garment you already own that fits well. Contact us for assistance.
