Slim 1950s skirt suit in a flecked, lightweight tweed. Tiny stripe of black and a sophisticated shade that appears deep pine green or subtle turquoise blue, depending on the light. High hip length, unlined jacket has three-quarter sleeves, no-notch collar, 5-button placket, and non-flared peplum with additional snap to keep things in place. Seams and tiny pleats create very subtle blouson shaping. Additional, decorative button at back. Small shoulder pads. Straight, unlined skirt has metal Falcon side zip with button tab at set-on waistband. The overall effect is sporty elegance.
We show the suit with traditional '50s accessories (not included, but available, please inquire), but it would look terrific with the brown leather (real or faux) equestrian accessories on trend this year. Channel your inner Ann Bonfoey Taylor without breaking the bank. Tally ho!
