Edwardian White Cotton Embroidered Petticoat or Skirt
This beautiful Edwardian skirt most likely started out as a petticoat, but there's no reason to keep such gorgeous details hidden. Semi-sheer, delicate cotton with white-on-white embroidery, broderie anglaise openwork, tiny open pleats, and hemline tucks. Closes at back placket with two antique buttons in hand-made buttonholes (squee!) plus a hook&eye at the waist.

Condition: tthere is an old, inconspicuous, L-shaped repair at the left lower skirt just above the tucks, and a few bits of loosened embroidery thread here and there. the buttons are period-correct antique replacements and the hook&eye is new.
