Light-as-air summer dress in cream voile with tiny purple rosebuds. Jewel-neck, tuck-pleated bodice has an English net collar and lavender satin bow detail. Short, slightly puffed, elasticized sleeves with scalloped lace trim. Thread loops and matching belt. Ultra-feminine more-than-a-circle skirt would accommodate your most extravagantly full crinoline. An extra-pretty example of the neo-Victorian style made famous by Gunne Sax in the late 1970s.
We would strongly recommend a slip (half or full) beneath this dress for modesty.
Labels: only the size, care instructions, and a 1974-'95 ILGWU tag remain
Fiber/Care: not marked, cotton or cotton-rich blend, washable
Condition: a short length of one of the skirt's vertical seams has been restitched closed, the waist elastic no longer has bounce (it's unnecessary, as the belt cinches the dress nicely)
*This dress is freshly laundered and ready to wear.*
