From the 1950s, or perhaps a bit earlier, an adorable crop top in cotton twill.
Evidence suggests this top was part of a mid-century "lifeguard" uniform, but with nothing to confirm that suspicion, it's being offered separately. The shorts have sold, but you can view them here.
- 3-button front
- tiny "butterfly" sleeves
- shaped/peaked lower hem
- soft red cotton twill trim at front and sleeves
- darts at bust and back for a fitted silhouette
- unlined but not see-through
Labels: none - possibly home sewn
Fiber/Care: cotton / washable
Condition: The only "flaws" are teensy imperfections in the original construction, which you can see in the photo of the sleeve. This crop top is in really great shape!
This vintage crop top is freshly laundered and ready to wear.
