10s Antique Blouse in Cream - sm, med, lg

From the 1910s, a typically delicious, delicately detailed, cream blouse or "shirtwaist" that is perfectly wearable (with care) today. 

• Plenty of lovely faggoting and embroidery detail throughout
• Tucks from shoulders toward bust
• Teeny-tiny shell buttons down full, ruffled placket
• Long sleeves ending in 3-button, fold-back cuffs
• French seams
• Fun fact: Because these popular tops were so delicate and sheer, they were nicknamed "pneumonia blouses"

Labels: only the HCTC's accession number label and tag (#1910-6-34) 

Fiber/Care: no tags, feels like silk but could be finest cotton (no way to conduct a burn test as there are no loose threads or unfinished seams) / gently washable (recommended over dry-cleaning, as it's safer for the fibers to avoid harsh chemicals)

Condition: Really quite good. Fabric is strong and wearable with care. One rough spot of small holes at upper left bodice, a few typical stains that may lift with careful soaking (we have not cleaned the HCTC collection items), and two of six tiny buttons missing at cuffs (we may have appropriate replacements, please inquire) -- see composite image.

- Will work for a range of sizes, depending on your fit preferences. -
 shoulders: 15"/38cm
 bust: up to 44"/111.5cm (meant to fit loosely, but that's up to you)
 waist: up to 45"/114cm
 sleeves: 22.5"/57cm (cuffed/as worn)
 length: 21"/53cm front, 18"/45.5cm back
