30s/40s Blouse in Cream Rayon

Sweet and versatile cream-colored blouse has clam-shell edged double ruffles at the jewel neck and 4-button placket. Snap closure at neck. Short sleeves with banded edges. Vertical darts provide shaping, front and back. Tiny pads in the sleeve heads. Modified saddle shoulder. Quite sheer and delicate. Feels wonderful. From the late 1930s or 1940s, and the Richard C. estate.

Fiber/Care: unmarked, most likely rayon or a blend, gentle wash or dry-clean

Condition: there's a tiny repair at the top of one back dart (see photo), there is underarm discoloration on the interior which is not visible on the exterior and appears far worse in photos than in person.
