From the late 1930s or early 1940s, a small boater hat. Scalloped natural golden-brown leghorn straw. Asymmetrical brim (wider at front). Richly colored striped fabric around crown forms a jaunty double bow. Held in place at the back of your head by wide, golden mustard grosgrain ribbons joined with a loop of black elastic. Unlined interior with grosgrain inner band. From the Jane K. estate. Our go-to millinery expert corroborates our dating, placing the hat between 1938 and 1942.

Condition: only flaw to note is some slight discoloration at the interior crown only. going by personal experience, we'd bet it's hair dye.
