This 1930s black velvet dressing gown, is too beautiful to hide in the boudoir. The full lining makes it substantial enough to serve as a fabulous topper, hostess dress, or evening wear. Closes at bodice, waist, and along the skirt with snaps and hooks&thread eyes. Sparkly topaz yellow decorative buttons. From my personal collection.

Fiber/Care: exceptionally soft, silky, drapey velvet. Feels like and is most likely silk, but could be a rayon blend. Rayon crepe lining. Dry-clean only.
Condition: no flaws beyond very minor signs of age and wear. lining is no longer stitched to dress at center of back hem (makes no difference, but we'll restitch it for you if you'd like, just ask). the hooks and thread eyes are all replacements, and easily snipped/moved to suit your own shape and how you'd like to use the garment. the sparkly buttons (modern and decorative, there are no button holes) can also be moved or removed. If you intend to wear this as a coat, you might prefer to remove the hooks on the skirt.

- the garment is pinned to fit Delphine, and she measures b: 32, w: 24, h: 35.25
