30s Cream Wool Skirt & Shawl Set
Another fabulous item from the Dona S. estate. This remarkable set is in immaculate condition. Off-white wool in a slightly coarse weave resembling linen, with Scandinavian style embroidery in red, yellow, shades of blue, and a touch of lavender. Slightly full skirt is pleated at wide, patterned waistband. Closes with metal CONMAR bell-style side zip and three hook&eyes. The luxuriously sized wrap, scarf, or shawl ends in dramatic, hand-knotted fringe.
This set looks brand new. It is hard to believe that it's nearly 80 years old. Completely wearable right now. Pair it with a fitted top and sleek boots, throw the wrap around your shoulders and go!
