From the 1950s or early 60s, a pair of wrist-length gloves in true orange. So bold and stylish!
- stretchy, comfortable, washable fabric
- gathers at inner wrists
Labels: the label is entirely illegible, but probably Van Raalte or similar. brightly colored gloves to match every ensemble was a trend in the late 50s.
Fiber/Care: no tags, nylon (the sort that looks and feels like cotton) / washable
Condition: no flaws to note beyond very minor pilling
*These gloves are clean and ready to wear.*
Dimensions: Stretchy, so should fit hands that don't fall too far outside the "average" spectrum. Unstretched and lying flat, they measure 8"/20cm from tip of middle finger to edge of cuff, and 3"/7.5cm across the palm above the thumb. I usually wear a 7 (or occasionally 6.5) and they fit me fine. They come to the wrist bone, as shown.
