50s Red Bandana Print Full Circle Skirt
This 1950s tiered more-than-a-full circle skirt is fashioned from true-red bandana print cotton. Made by the pioneers of American western wear, this unlined skirt closes at the side with a metal zip and button at the set-in waistband. Elastic along 5"/12.5cm of the back waistband for comfort. Shown with a crinoline (not included), but skirt is nicely full even without one.

background: Jack A. Weil (1901-2008) founded Rockmount in 1946, and worked at his company daily until he was 107 years old! The company was the first to offer the bolo tie and the slim-fitting Western (or "cowboy") shirt. They are still in business today.
Fiber/Care: unmarked, cotton, washable
Condition: no flaws to note. there is nothing wrong with the hem. we didn't notice that the edge had got caught in our crinoline during our exuberant twirling (you just can't help but twirl in this skirt!).
