30s Black Lace Evening Gown
From the 1930s, a jet black lace gown with attached faux bolero bodice, puffed sleeves, and flowing skirt. Matching slip with net lace at bodice and scalloped hem. Both pieces close at side with snaps (plus one hook&eye on dress). Some photos lightened to show detail.
Labels: none
Fiber/Care: dress is natural fiber (probably a blend). Not sure what the slip is. Burn test was inconclusive. If you're vegan, can't promise there's no silk in it. hand wash, dry flat
Condition: Dress is delicate, but wearable. Many holes have been repaired, especially at waist. Many remain, but mostly don't show due to slip. Much is intact/perfect or nearly so. Yards of intact fabric could later be repurposed, but you should get at least a few fabulous evenings of wear from the dress if you're gentle. The slip is in good condition with only one pinhole noted. It can pair with another dress or go solo down the road.
*Dress and slip are freshly laundered.*
