Read the company history, here. Founded 1923, maker of rayon textiles, and after WWII, finished products including lingerie. One of only a few companies to make the fabric and the garment!
Fiber/Care: rayon / washable (recommend drip or flat dry)
Condition: In good condition, but highly personalized to the previous owner. S/he added an exterior tuck, which shortened the slip by at least 2" (easily released), and may also have taken up the hem. S/he added inset panels on either side to increase the overall circumference of the slip, from bust to hem, adding lots of extra room. There are a few additional stitches and tucks taken here and there, but the only actual flaw is some age-related wear to the fabric of the straps. The extra-low price takes all this into consideration.
*This plus-size vintage full slip comes to you clean and ready to wear.*
Garment Measurements:
(taken with garment lying flat and including all adjustments made by previous owner)
bust: 44"/111.5cm
at waist seam: 46"/116.5cm
at approximate hip: 50"/127cm
length along side seam (straps adjust): 30"/76cm with 5.5" total hem/tuck allowance
Note: Modeled by our mannequin Beryl, who measures b:42, w:32, h:40.5. The slip was quite big on her, so we had to clip it to fit her better for the photos.
