From the late 50s or early 60s, a watercolor color dress in botanical print of purple and green leaves on creamy white. Ballet neckline, elbow-length sleeves, nipped waist, box-pleated skirt, and matching belt. Unlined, with Hong Kong seams and huge hem. Closes at back with metal zipper. Wear it with or without a crinoline, not included.
Fiber/Care: no tags, unknown crisp and smooth fabric may be silk, dry-clean
Condition: no flaws to note. the hem appears to have been taken up about an inch at some time in the past. It is clearly much shorter than a typical dress of the era, but it may have belonged to a very petite woman, as there are no recent alterations.
