Lovely frame purse in genuine lizard skin from the 1950s (or possibly a bit earlier). Gold-tone frame with an art deco style clasp. Interior is lined in smooth leather and has a slip pocket behind a zippered pocket. Unusual shape and the perfect size. Small enough to go from day to evening, but will easily hold all your modern necessities (including your phone). From the H. Smith estate.

Condition: the exterior looks great, including the handle, with only a couple very minor scuffs on one side (see arrow). the interior shows signs of use, but is fully intact and the leather is supple. the gold-tone hardware shows wear. please note that these genuine lizard/leather bags have a distinctive scent (if you really sniff the interior). it's not mildew or mothballs or anything of that nature. it's inherent to the natural materials.
