Warm weather suit from the 1960s or possibly 70s in a happy floral print of blues, purples, and greens on white. No closure, swingy jacket with three-quarter sleeves over a trim straight (but not pegged) skirt with metal "double Talon" side zipper and hook&eye on set-in waistband. From the estate of Dorothy E.
Shown with a modern tank top, not included.
Labels: none - home sewn
Fiber/Care: we suspect it's a linen/rayon blend or rayon with a linen weave, as it does not wrinkle as easily as pure linen, dry-clean
Condition: there is an original repair to a hole snipped in the lining by Dorothy herself (see photos). there is also evidence that she reworked the placement of the lining a few times before she got it just right. not visible when the suit is being worn.
*We've had this skirt suit professionally dry-cleaned and it's ready to wear.*
