Black wool boucle skirt suit from the 1960s. Long-sleeved cropped jacket with full acetate lining, notched rounded collar, 3-large black buttons with bound holes, and scalloped hem detail. Straight skirt with slimming back seam, half-lined in back only. Pinked seams, hem tape, metal CRAFT side zip with button-tab closure at waist. Union made in the U.S.A.  From the Kathryn G. estate.

We have a similar suit in red with the same measurements, from the same estate. See it here.

Labels: none, but definitely store-bought

Fiber/Care: unmarked, wool or wool-rich blend boucle with acetate lining, dry-clean only

Condition: we darned two small moth holes -- one on the back of the collar, one on the upper back. the one on the collar was more obvious due to its white lining material. it is now imperceptible. see photos for before and after close-ups.
