Perfect little skirt suit from the 1960s. Blue (with a slight lean toward teal) not-so-boxy jacket has three-quarter sleeves, real pockets, and fringe along the placket. Bound button holes. Hidden snap at lower edge. Straight skirt closes at the side with zipper, button tab, and snap. Both pieces are fully lined. Very nicely Union made in the U.S.A.
Labels: Tailorbrooke, 1963-'74 ILGWU
Fiber/Care: no tags, burn tests suggests wool, but we suspect it's a blend, dry-clean
Condition: wonderful but for a some fuzziness to the fabric if you look closely (see photos). the jacket's buttons are vintage replacements (and we've stitched two spares to the interior, just in case)
*We've had this skirt suit professionally dry-cleaned and it's ready to wear.*
