Ultra-mod styling in a superbly crafted mini dress by iconic designer Malcolm Starr. Three-quarter length sleeves, jewel-neck, princess seams, waist-defining partial belt detail, and kicky inverted front pleats with... yes, hidden pockets! Oh my goodness. The photos don't capture the richness and sparkle of the highly textured fabric -- a wonderfully shimmery lamé brocade in gold and creamy white on deep peach. Full attached lining. Metal Tabit back zip with top hook&eye. Unsurpassed quality. Union made in the U.S.A. in the 1960s. From the Jean M. estate.
Our thanks to VFG colleague Maggie at DeniseBrainVintage for her assistance with describing the glorious fabric.
