Mod minidress from the 1960s in a substantial, lemon-yellow fabric. Modified mandarin neckline and above-the-waist tabs are embellished with faux-pearl buttons. Bust darts for shape. Almost-straight skirt is gently gathered at waist seam. Lined at the bodice. Closes in back with metal Talon zipper. From the Merritt2 estate.
Labels: none - nicely home sewn
Fiber/Care: no tags, looks like linen but feels like wool, quite weighty and substantial, we recommend dry-cleaning
Condition: we spied a single pin-point size hole in the lower skirt when we had the dress turned inside out, but could not find it again when we turned it right side out. it was truly miniscule. the dry-cleaner returned it to us with a small ink spot at the skirt front (we've switched cleaners), which we managed to remove (phew!).
*We've had this minidress professionally dry-cleaned and it's ready to wear.*
length: 35"/89cm with 4"/10cm hem
