Lovely summer day dress in a cool and breezy fabric featuring navy-and-white gingham checks. Short-sleeves, Peter Pan collar, bust darts. Shirtwaist styling with 11 spherical buttons and fabric loops at the front placket, with double snaps at the crossover waist. Box pleats top the full, but not too full, skirt. Could be worn with a crinoline and belt for that Betty Draper silhouette. Unlined with pinked seams, waist tape. From the 1960s.
