From the 1960s, a maxi dress or gown in luscious bubblegum pink chiffon with silver metallic embellishment at the bodice and snap cuffs. Sheer, billowy sleeves. Fully lined. Closes with back zipper.

(our research found an Elgin Dress Co. at 575 8th Avenue, NYC, in 1909 and another at 40 East 20th St. in 1921; several ads for dressmakers wanted by and dresses on sale by a company with the same name in Philadelphia in the 1920s; and another in a 1958 listing of manufacturers in NY State)
Fiber/Care: no tags, polyester chiffon and acetate lining with metallic trim, dry-clean
Condition: only flaw to note is a stain at the back hem of the lining. it doesn't show.
