Soft as a whisper 1970s maxi dress of white cotton voile with light blue floral embroidery and smocking. Would make the perfect Boho wedding dress, as the "something blue" is built right in. Flocked ribbon ties at the V-neck. Elasticized, dolman over-elbow sleeves. Elasticized smocking at waist, and three-tier, full A-line skirt. Lined in a separate layer of white cotton with a camisole-style under-bodice with bust darts and thin, satin ribbon straps. From the Mrs. Richard C. estate.
Last photo shows my friend Robin wearing an identical dress (almost certainly not the one listed here) in March 1978.
Labels: none remain (previously cut), definitely store-bought
Fiber/Care: cotton or a cotton-rich blend, washable
Condition: a few small spots (at back of neck on ribbon, at back of skirt, hidden in folds), as shown, elastic at sleeve edges is no longer bouncy (this is fixable if need be, contact us for help)
*This dress is freshly laundered and ready to wear.*
