"What you have is a yukata -- a kind of light summer kimono. These are still popular in Japan and many people wear them in spring and summer for festivals and fireworks displays. Yukata are made from cotton and kimono are made from silk." - AT (translated from Japanese by her American-born husband)
Would make the world's comfiest costume ("Memoirs of a Geisha," perhaps?), as well as a fabulously stylish hostess dress.

Fiber/Care: cotton, machine washable with care
Condition: a small tear in the placket has been mended, a few very small spots are frayed, there are a few very tiny stains (see photos)
*This yukata has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear.*
Measurements:
shoulders: 24.5"
bust/waist/hips: 46" seam to seam, but can be adjusted much smaller, or opened wider
without the sides uncrossing
total length: 57" from base of collar to hem on back
