From the 1950s or early 1960s, a perfect little black dress.
- Lace bodice with squared neckline.
- Sheer lace long sleeves.
- Princess seams and center dart for shaping.
- Tulip skirt with pleats below waist.
- Lined except at sleeves.
- Closes at back with metal zipper and hook&eye
- Dress is jet black. Some photos lightened to show detail.
Labels: none
Fiber/Care: no tags, most likely rayon / dry-clean
Condition: presents beautifully, but there is an invisible mend to one underarm and many pinholes in the skirt. the tiny holes don't show, even under bright lights and without a slip, and would be all but irrelevant with a black slip beneath. the hole at back near the waist is concealed by a belt (not included). there are thread belt loops (easily snipped) but no belt. despite the flaws being inconspicuous, we've priced the dress accordingly as the dress is not in perfect condition.
