From the late 1940s or very early 50s, an iconic New Look cartwheel (or platter or pancake) hat in navy blue straw. Netting around wide brim. Grosgrain ribbon band and bows. Interior cap with elastic for beneath your hair to help hold it on (though we recommend using a hat pin, as well). Union made in the U.S.A.

Condition: presents nicely, but a bit time-worn and priced accordingly. some breaks in the netting can be trimmed, left as is, or repaired with a bit of patience and matching thread. we've steamed it, but you might want to give it another steaming when you receive it as it's easily rumpled. some minor loss of color (subtle in regular light), mostly at the crown.

Dimensions: about 16"/40.5cm across, as shown. labeled a size 22, but since it perches on the crown of your head, it should fit anyone.
